500+ in attendance in Atlanta!
What a turnout! Our first screening in Atlanta is over and we couldn’t have hoped for a better impact campaign launch. More than 500 people came to see the film and the response was overwhelmingly encouraging that this film will be a great vehicle to bring communities together around addressing homelessness in a comprehensive way. Here are some of the reactions:
The film was fantastic. It was everything I want to say to so many people I know about housing, homelessness, healthcare, empathy, love. Very well done.
It’s literally the film that we were waiting for.
If you leave this documentary and you do not feel like ending homelessness is possible, I don’t know that you are paying attention.
I was blown away. I was really impressed at how touching the film was. It really highlights the experiences of folks and the good work that Housing First can do. It will move people regardless of where you are in life.
We want to give special thanks to the Housing First Partners Conference, DESC and Pathways Housing First Institute for sharing the space with us. Thank you to all the panelists – Will Cooper Jr, James Mathy and Tiffany Duvernay-Smith – and thank you to Sarah Armour-Jones for moderating the panel. And thank you, Together Films, for helping us with the organization of the event and making sure it went smoothly.
This was just the beginning – we have so many more events that are being planned for 2024 and 2025. As we finalize everything, the list of cities will become available on this website, so do check regularly. Or sign up to our newsletter and we’ll occasionally send you an update.
Our next stop is in Houston on May 7th, 2024. Get your free tickets here. If you are in the area, we hope to see you there!
While our priority for 2024 and 2025 is organizing and executing impact events in strategically selected cities across the US, we appreciate that there is urgency to address homeless crisis in many more communities outside of our campaign tour. We do accept requests for additional screenings and we will do our best to accommodate all of them.
If you are interested in a screening near you, please fill out this form.
We hope to see you on the trail.
Be well!

We believe the role of the filmmaker who is trying to present a solution to a problem is to actively help communities engage with the film in a way that really leads to some results. We discuss this and more on a new episode of the Common Ground Podcast by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
From a film screening to a $50M+ initiative
We’ve been really encouraged by what we’re seeing so far with the Beyond The Bridge impact campaign. Communities are starting to challenge the status quo, come together in new ways, and commit to real solutions. A great example is the city of Indianapolis.
