FILM AND IMPACT CAMPAIGN

BEYOND THE BRIDGE is an ambitious documentary film about solutions to homelessness.

Our team traveled 44,000 miles around the US to answer this question: How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way?

The answer surprised us with its simplicity, as two cities proved that solving homelessness is within the reach of all communities.

We are running an ambitious nationwide social impact campaign. Our screening tour engages communities with the film’s key findings with post-screening panels and Q&As, as well as actionable calls-to-action and follow-up activities for audience and community members.

The campaign focuses on changing the national discourse on homelessness solutions, addressing the upstream causes of homelessness, and addressing the downstream via housing and robust supportive services in combination.

We invite you to join the movement by signing up to our mailing list and supporting the campaign.

Edie Irons • Director of Communications • All Home, Bay Area

“This film is not only a solution, but has a surprising solution because it is not only about people who are homeless themselves, but about how every member of the community can get involved in solving this issue. It’s something you should see.”

BEHIND-THE-SCENES STORIES

We join NLIHC Podcast

We believe the role of the filmmaker who is trying to present a solution to a problem is to actively help communities engage with the film in a way that really leads to some results. We discuss this and more on a new episode of the Common Ground Podcast by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

From a film screening to a $50M+ initiative

We’ve been really encouraged by what we’re seeing so far with the Beyond The Bridge impact campaign. Communities are starting to challenge the status quo, come together in new ways, and commit to real solutions. A great example is the city of Indianapolis.

Impact Campaign: One Year Update

We’ve wrapped up YEAR ONE of our social impact campaign, and we are on to our second year. We’re currently planning events from late summer into early winter, and we have a little more availability for communities to schedule impact campaign events for this year.

First Screening in Atlanta

Our first screening in Atlanta is over and we couldn't have hoped for a better impact campaign launch. More than 500 people came to see the film and the response was overwhelmingly encouraging that this film...
